The Pulse kids are often from single-parent families who struggle economically. Many parents do not have their own means of transportation, so the children spend much of their time in their own neighborhood.
Pulse field trips get kids out of their neighborhood and into parks, museums and events that expose them to new areas of life. They learn and grow and find inspiration in places like the Museum Of Science and History, The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, The Hands On Childrens Museum, Fort Caroline National Monument and events like One Spark, Art Walk, and World of Nations
